Packing List: Camper Trailer

Gone are the days when we had to sort and pack everything into the car before taking off for a weekend of camping.  Since we ditched the tent and got our camper, most items remain packed and stored ready to hitch up and go.

So here’s the list of what stays in the camper ready for a quick getawayIMG_0033

    • Frying pan
    • Billy
    • Saucepans
    • Tupperware containers
    • Chopping Board

  • the Food Box

  • Storage Box containing:

    • Toilet paper
    • Games (Bocce ball set, cards)
    • Fly spray
  • Buster’s Box
    • “corkscrew” – this screws into the ground to act as an anchor to tie him to if there are no trees about
    • Long rope
    • Lead
    • Food / water bowl
    • Doggie insect repellent
    • Coat
    • Box of dog treats

So when we decide to go, we just throw in the last few items

  • Fill up the food box
  • Fridge (Car boot)
  • Clothes (car boot)
  • Buster’s bed (in trailer if he’s coming)
  • Kindle / Books
  • Bedding (pillows & sleeping bags) – we will be leaving the bed made up when travelling, just covering it with a tarp so that the dirt and grit from the floor doesn’t land on our bed when we fold the tent up.

There might be a few additions for our long haul, but that’s pretty much how we roll….
